Fading Memories

These classic black and white images evoke the fading of memory for many visitors. Colours disappear and only the shadows and vague forms remain. However, few visitors to Venice bother to explore the city at dawn, and so miss the fascinating glimpse that supports Venice’s reputation as La Serenissima (the Most Serene One).
