Redwoods
Redwood NP in California can be spectacular, although a photographically challenging jumble of forest floor. Tree trunks, especially in Lady Byrd Johnson Grove in the fog, allow much simpler compositions. Just being there among these immense trees, surrounded by silence, is a pleasure; being able to photograph is a huge bonus.
