These images resulted from a week-long trip with friends Wendy, Dave, Vicki, Tim and Debbie.  We stayed at Stovepipe Wells to have easy access to the main dunes on Mesquite Flat for dawn shooting, however this meant that we did have to get up quite early for mornings at Zabriskie Point, Dante's View and Badwater.  While there are some spectacular views in Death Valley, the patient observer will find riches in the subtleties of colour and tone.
